Ivo Arnold is Professor of Economics at Nyenrode Business Universiteit and Program Director at Erasmus School of Economics. He joined Nyenrode in 1994, where he currently teaches Managerial Economics, Macroeconomics and International Money and Finance. His main research interests are European monetary and financial integration and exchange rate behavior.
His writings have been published in international journals including International Finance, The European Journal of Political Economy and The Review of World Economics. From 1988 to 1994, he was Assistant Professor at Erasmus Universiteit, first in the Department of Finance and later in the Department of Monetary Economics.
He received his Master’s degree in Economics (with honors) from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in 1988 where in 1996, he also obtained his PhD with a thesis on European monetary policy.
