Ivo De Loo is Associate Professor of Methods and Methodology at the Center for Management Accounting & Control at Nyenrode Business Universiteit.

Before joining Nyenrode, he was associate professor of Management Accounting at the Open University of the Netherlands for over ten years, and was a statistical researcher at Statistics Netherlands and MERIT (currently UNU-MERIT) Maastricht.

Ivo obtained his Master of Science degree in Econometrics at Maastricht University and holds a PhD-degree from the Open University of the Netherlands. The title of his PhD-research was: ‘Organizational development through management control: the case of action learning’ (Shaker Publishing, Maastricht, 2008).
