Nazlihan Ugur MSc is Assistant Professor at Nyenrode Business University. She is part of Nyenrode's Faculty Research Center for Strategy, Organization & Leadership.
Her research focuses on ambidexterity, exploration, innovation strategies and global strategies of multinational, R&D intensive firms. Her expertise lies within the domain of strategy but with particular focus on computer aided text analysis, patent-based research, and construct development. Her first publication was awarded as the Top Downloaded article in 2019 by Wiley.
Ugur holds a master’s degree from Tilburg University (awarded by Koopmans and CIR grants) and currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Management and Economics at KU Leuven (Belgium). She worked at different institutions in the Netherlands including Wageningen University & Research, Amsterdam Business School, and Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is an active member of the Strategic Management Society.

International activities
Ugurs research is often conducted with international colleagues from University of KU Leuven, Belgium. She regularly participates the international conferences of AOM and SMS meetings.
Interests
Ugur is an active member of a world music choir in Amsterdam. She enjoys travelling, scuba diving, modern art, and Mediterranean cuisine.
