Borrowing Books
You can borrow books by showing your library card. The maximum number of books you can borrow from us is 5. The loan period is four weeks. Books can be returned at the information desk or by post, but at your own risk.
Books can be returned outside opening hours in the mailbox next to the entrance of the library building. You will receive a reminder when the loan period has expired. Penalties will be charged for late return of the books. View the rates for the fines here.
Please note: not receiving or delaying reminders does not lead to a waiver of fines. *Reference works, magazines, annual reports and videos can only be viewed in the library; Nyenrode theses are not accessible.
When you reserve a book on loan, you will receive a message as soon as the book is available. Reserve a book in one of the following ways:
Through the library catalog.
- Login and go to 'My Account'.
- By phone: Call the number on the right.
- Send an email to library@nyenrode.nl
Do you want to request books that are not on loan? Please contact the library staff. We will prepare the books for you at the information desk or send them by post. See: Rates for delivery of articles/books.
Extend
You will receive a reminder when the loan period has expired. The loan period is automatically extended, unless a book has been reserved. The reminder letter states which books can no longer be renewed. In the library catalog you can see which books you have borrowed and when the loan period ends.
