Dr.  Jingwen Zhang

Dr. Jingwen Zhang is an assistant professor for the center of Corporate Reporting, Finance & Tax.

Zhang received her PhD in Accounting from Tilburg University. Prior to joining Nyenrode, she worked at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on management control, incentive design, and corporate governance, aiming to help companies identify and resolve practical issues. She frequently presented her work at international conferences and has reviewed papers for journals such as Accounting Horizon, Management Accounting Research and Accounting Business Review.

Zhang has developed and taught a variety of courses, including financial accounting, management accounting and programing. She often employs diverse teaching methods in her lectures, such as traditional lectures, case studies, interactive teaching, and online learning.
