As they indicated in previous years as well, the students of Nyenrode Business Universiteit are very satisfied with their degree programs. In the 2017 edition of the National Student Survey conducted by Studiekeuze123 annually, students rated Nyenrode far above the national average for universities in the Netherlands. The BSc in Business Administration started last year scored the highest with a 4.7 out of 5.

Victor van Leijsen, current Bachelor of Science in Business Administration student, is not your average Nyenrodian. Though Victor will be part of the first BScBA graduating class, he will not be the first Van Leijsen to graduate from Nyenrode. From September 2017 Nyenrode Business Universiteit will run its full-time MBA program from central Amsterdam, in order to better integrate students with the European business community. The university’s flagship programme will be located at De Vijf Keijzers, a complex situated on the iconic Emperors Canal (Keizersgracht).

Starting in 2017, Nyenrode Business Universiteit is to offer study courses in Amsterdam. The International MBA will be moving from the Breukelen-based campus to De Vijf Keizers, a building complex on Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, where Nyenrode New Business School (NNBS) is also located. Over the coming years, the Amsterdam site will be transformed into an annex of Nyenrode Business Universiteit, where other degree programs will also be offered. In the years ahead, for the Bachelor in Business studies, an expansion in BSc in Business Administration is anticipated. For the BBA New Business & Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Amsterdam, there will be a student stop as from 2018.

Times Higher Education, the renowned publication read worldwide, has announced a list where recruiters can indicate the universities whose graduate students are the most popular to recruit. Nyenrode Business Universiteit occupies third position in the Netherlands on this ‘employability’ list.

When it comes to the business sector, digital transformation is not just a choice, but rather a necessity. That is what Dr. Ir. Wolter Lemstra reiterates, the core professor of Digital Strategy and Transformation – a course of the Modular Executive MBA in Business & IT. Lemstra: “At one point or another, every organization will have to face digital transformation. So the best approach is to be adequately prepared.”

All the complaints about alleged irregularities during a Nyenrode New Business School (NNBS) study trip to China in May of this year, have been found to be unjustified by an independent commission of inquiry chaired by Prof. Dr. Emile Kolthoff. The findings of the inquiry entirely clear NNBS director Anton Busselman and the two co-accused teachers.
