Simon van den Ende has been appointed as a member of the Nyenrode Foundation Board as of October 1 on the recommendation of alumni association VCV. He has an extensive network among alumni and in the business community.
“We are very pleased that Simon is joining our board as of October 1,” said chair Petri Hofsté. “His experience and his network among alumni will help further strengthen Nyenrode's position as the training institute for business and the public sector in the Netherlands.”
Simon van den Ende: “I studied at Nyenrode and feel a strong connection with the community of alumni. With my knowledge and experience, I would like to make a valuable contribution to the board.”
With the appointment of Simon van den Ende, the board of the Nyenrode Foundation, chaired by Petri Hofsté, also consists of Geert-Jan Poorthuis, Jeroen van den Biggelaar, Hélène Vetter and Doede Vierstra.
The Nyenrode Foundation is the sole shareholder of Nyenrode Business University and owner of the estate. The board oversees the university and manages the property including the castle whose foundations date back to the thirteenth century.
