Campus life
Amsterdam and Breukelen
One university, two campuses. At both locations we offer the same inspiring education of a high level. But the experience is different.
Which one will you choose? Our Amsterdam or Breukelen campus?
Breukelen Campus
Warm welcome, soft landing
The Breukelen campus is located on a historic estate with a thirteenth-century castle at its heart. The location is only 30 minutes from Amsterdam and 10 minutes from Utrecht by train.
Studying in the Breukelen campus allows you to fully focus on your student life while becoming an active member of the NCV (Nyenrode Breukelen Student Association). The NCV is rooted in Dutch business traditions with numerous social and professional committees, while practicing your business and social skills.
Study in Breukelen
Nyenrode's Breukelen Campus houses numerous conference and classroom facilities as well as students' living quarters. Furthermore, it provides:
- a library
- several indoor and outdoor sports facilities

- a self-service restaurant with outdoor seating (the Mensa)

The campus is within walking/cycling distance from the picturesque town of Breukelen offering various retail options – from pharmacy and optician to flower shop and photographer.
De Nieuwe Compagnie van Verre (NCV), founded in 1947, is both a study as well as a student association with members from the BScBA and MSc program. The NCV provides its participants with the possibility to evolve themselves by participating in one or more of the 48 committees including board, event, business, and sports committees. Besides the committees, the NCV has fraternities, sororities, and year clubs, contributing to life-long friendships.
The campus also welcomes professionals on a daily basis for executive education programs, enabling you as a student to connect.
Amsterdam Campus

Amsterdam is one of the most diverse cities in the world. Nyenrode's Amsterdam Campus is cosmopolitan, vivid, entrepreneurial, international, connected to business, creative, personal and of high quality. Our Amsterdam campus provides:

Trough our partnership with Campus Diemen-Zuid, our students have the opportunity to live at modern student housing facilities located only 14 minutes from downtown Amsterdam.
Located alongside one of the main canals
Our Amsterdam building is located in the heart of the city alongside one of the main canals (Keizersgracht). Students can easily access Amsterdam's business network. We also have a company incubator, a lounge with its own bar for food and drinks, and a variety of activities, such as breakfast sessions, to help our student community (Bachelor, Master, and MBA students) engage with the business world.
Also, studying in Amsterdam means enjoying the flexibility to the fullest. You can decide whether you want to join the Nyenrode Amsterdam Student association (JCV) or any student activities outside of Nyenrode.
Student association in Amsterdam
The Jongste Compagnie van Verre – or Youngest Company from Afar – (JCV) is Nyenrode Business Universiteit Amsterdam student association. The JCV was established in 2011 by a group of students who believed in the power of friendship, the importance of active student participation and the character-building qualities of getting out of your comfort zone. Committees within the association organize a variety of activities, some of them aimed at informing JCV members, some aiming to challenge and others focusing on physical activity.
