Biography
Learning is challenging and sometimes frustrating; but it is the love of my life! It gives meaning to my existence and prevents me from falling in the kingdom of boredom.
Dr. Yasmina Khadir-Poggi is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Nyenrode Business University. She is part of Nyenrode's Faculty Research Center for Strategy, Organization & Leadership. The three main topics she shares with students are business strategy, research methods and philosophy of thinking. She is also a member of the Assurance of Learning Committee who is actively engaged in obtaining the AACSB accreditation.
She completed a PhD at Trinity Business School, Ireland. Previously she obtained her Master’s degree at University Pantheon-Sorbonne in Paris and completed an Agregation in Economics, Management and Law at the Ecole Normale Superieure of Cachan.
Khadir-Poggi's research interests concentrate in knowledge management and philosophy of social sciences. Her research focuses on the development of a dynamic and holistic knowledge-based theory of the firm considering the micro-mechanisms and foundations that articulate knowledge emergence and creation. Revisiting the original epistemological foundations of knowledge management, a Marxian alternative is explored using activity theory.
She has a substantial and international work experience in higher education that involves teaching to BSc, MSc, MBA and EMBA classes. She has taught in France, Ireland and currently in The Netherlands at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Nyenrode Business Universiteït and a member of the Assurance of Learning Committee.
