Biography

Dr. Maaike Lycklama à Nijeholt is an assistant professor at Nyenrode Business University's Center for Corporate Reporting, Finance & Tax. There, as core group chair, she is responsible for the finance courses and two accountable courses in the undergraduate accountancy program. She is also involved in the switch program. Looking outward and connecting to Nyenrode's practice, both in education and research, gives her a lot of energy. Lycklama à Nijeholt is proud to work in an organization focused on contributing to a future-proof economy and training future-proof professionals.

Lycklama à Nijeholt likes to contribute to the development of knowledge for long-term value creation for business, people and society and to the training of future proof financials who have the right knowledge and skills to deal with the challenges the business community is facing.

Lycklama à Nijeholt studied financial economics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She received her doctorate from Leiden University on the subject of mergers and acquisitions. Lycklama à Nijeholt has worked as an associate professor for Utrecht University and Leiden University. In addition to her part-time appointment at Nyenrode, Lycklama à Nijeholt is a lecturer in Finance & Business Innovation at Hogeschool Rotterdam.
