Victoria Bressers

Victoria Bressers is a PhD candidate at the center for Strategy, Organization and Leadership. Her research is about personal leadership development and leader identity.

Alongside her PhD research, Bressers teaches in the MBA and MSc programs at Nyenrode, and guest lectures in the Master Fiscale Economie and Master Fiscaal Recht. She enjoys regular coaching discussions with students exploring their own personal growth, and also seeing groups of students progress along their own development paths within the programs and the Nyenrode community at large.

Bressers has spent most of her career in an academic environment, researching the launch of a new bachelor program as part of her own bachelor thesis in the UK, followed by roles at INSEAD in France, then a move to Nyenrode. There, her focus on personal development flourished. After heading the Admissions Office, she switched to the Career & Personal Development team and honed her skills, further developing her coaching skills and taking on responsibility for the Personal Leadership Development Journey course within the MBA programs. She earned a Master of Science in Organizational and Business Psychology from the University of Liverpool (2020) and is currently working towards her PhD.

Bressers’ personal mission at Nyenrode is to help people to make sense of their own personal leadership and become aware of their own impact on teams, on organizations and on the world.

Interests

She loves music, and to be outdoors, hiking, gardening or sailing. And the best spare time is spent with family and friends.
