Dr. Tim Hermans is assistant professor in Management Accounting & Control at Nyenrode Business University. He is part of Nyenrode's Faculty Research Center for Accounting, Auditing & Control. 

Hermans is mainly involved in research-related courses ,and supervision and examination of thesis projects for the Master of Science in Controlling. His primary research interests are in the field of management accounting & control and subjective performance evaluation.

Before joining Nyenrode, Hermans worked as a teaching and research assistant in accountancy and taxation at KU Leuven in Belgium. He holds a MSc in Applied Economic Sciences: Business Engineering and a PhD degree in Business Economics from KU Leuven.

Hermans is currently affiliated at a voluntary basis to KU Leuven in Belgium.
