When you leave the Netherlands, please make sure to take the following actions:

  • Deregister from the municipality where you have registered
  • Inform your program management team
  • Close your bank account (only if you leave permanently)
  • Cancel your Dutch health insurance (if applicable)

If you are registered with the municipalities in Breukelen (Stichtse Vecht), Diemen or Amsterdam you can find more information about deregistration on their websites. 

For further information about rules and regulations around your residence permit when leaving the Netherlands, check the IND website. 

Nyenrode will be closed for the holidays. You are still welcome to apply for our programs, but please note that applications, emails, questions, and requests will be processed starting January 6th. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
